Sleetwind traveled silentally. He walked slowly, only part of him paying attention and looking for a enemy or prey to chase. His slender limbs stretched in from of him as he walked with long strides making him look regal and confident. His light amber orbs were radiant beaming from sucess. His head was high as he carried a prize, a plump gray rabbit. It hung liflessly from his tightly clenched grip.

A supple wind ruffled the femme's fur; it came from the south, and it carried the scent of prey and the unknown. Wide crimson depths moved across the scape, watching as the long grass danced in the wind. Just beyond the sun-bathed boulder where the warrioress was sitting, a shadow. The time was slowly edging past sunhigh, and the great wall that led to the uplands cast a long omnious shadow across the land. But the she-cat ignored it. Instead she focused on the sun bathed hunting lands. Her whiskers twitched as the winds shifted. The cool air stroked her face, bringing to her the familiar scent of HailClan.

OOC: Sorry I'm just not that good at lengthy posts I go over afterwords and add even more discriptions and they still end up short.
BIC: Sleetwind slowed as he approached the border. He made sure he was always two tails lengths away. He never wanted to cross the border again. He made that mistake as an apprentice, and that enough to teach him a lesson. This memory made his muscles tence and his movments stiff. His dark fur stood on end as he stalked through the tall grass. It brushed up against his pelt the tips of the grass seemed to tease him as it swayed in front of his face. He didn't want to play though, just get back to camp. The warm scent of home made his muscles relax and his fur lay flat. His step hurried as he made his way back to camp.

The she-cat stopped, bloodred eyes darting about. She had heard something--perhaps a squirrel or a field mouse? Sniffing the air, she was surpised. Ah, so it was a squirrel. What would a forest creature be doing way out here? Dropping into a hunter's crouch, she edged forward, slowly, slowly, to where she thought it was. Eyes fully aware, senses alert, she heard his tiny heartbeat, there, a whisker to the left. She raised a menacing paw and striked. Without a sound it was down, and she padded over and lifted it in her jaws.

Sleetwind scented squirrel he quickly burried his rabbit and went to follow the scent. The soft sweet scent of squirrel was soon mixed with a tang of blood. I was to late I guess. He thought to himself. Now curious he scented the air for the cat who had killed it. He didn't recignize the she-cats scent. He titled his head and padded a few more steps forward.

Arsenic froze, squirrel in mouth, as the juniper bush in front of her rustled. Spitting the prey from her jaws, she bared her fangs and let out a hiss. The wind swept in from behind her, rejecting the possibility of recognizing the scent. "Who's there?" she called.

Sleetwind squinted his eyes. He pondered if he should give up his idenity that easily. He didn't reviel his idenity but he did step out of the brambles so they could both look each other over. He opened his mouth wide but didn't recignize her scent.

Arsenic's trained nose immediately recognized the scent of Sleetwind, a fellow HailClanner. Muscles relaxing, she forced her hackles flat. "Greetings," she spoke in her soft voice.

"Hello Arsenics," Sleetwind called when he realized who she was. He slowly padded to the cool speaking she-cat. He had never spoken to her one on one before and thought it was good that they were getting to intorduce themselves now.
