Name - Ryewind
Age - 30 moons
Gender - She-cat
Clan - TempestClan
Rank - Deputy
Personality - Ryewind is a serious and pensive cat. She puts up a solid front and speaks in a no-nonsense manner. Whenever a cat speaks out of line, she retorts with a deadpan, but angry comment. Preferring to keep a strong image for her Clan, Ryewind rarely lets her own doubts and insecurities show. Hence, she is often awkward when speaking of her own feelings or emotionally trying to comfort another cat in her Clan.
Appearance - Ryewind is a muscled cat with a slightly thick build. Her fur is short and ragged because of the wind in the forest or just because she tends to bristle whenever a problem rises in the Clan. Her legs are muscled just like the rest of her body and she undoubtly larger than some of the she-cats in TempestClan. Her pelt is a deep red-brown color, almost burgundy shade. Her claws are long and sharp, typical of a strong warrior. Ryewind's eyes are a pale auric color, almost pale yellow, hence the first beginning of her name.
History - A serious cat since birth, Ryewind didn't play as much as her brothers and sisters when they were kits. Even at such a young age, Ryewind had a no-nonsense manner. Her attitude was even the butt of jokes at times. She was labeled "boring and broody" because of it. This occasional teasing is probably the reason Ryewind's emotionally insecure at times. Nevertheless, she and her kin were always close, even if that did involve some teasing her and there.
When Ryekit became Ryepaw, she acted in the typical apprentice way; excited and nervous at the same time. Her continuous business-like manner both pleased and amused her mentor. Ryepaw proved to be an apprentice that was eager to please and even more eager to learn. Sometimes her eagerness were the cause of injuries. Once, in attempting to catch a quick squirrel Ryepaw tripped over a sturdy tree root and sprained her leg. The resulting injury delayed her training for more than a moon and because of the lack of activity, the young she-cat proved to be in a sulk.
When Ryepaw earned her warrior name, she sat vigil in a proud stance, happy her work had paid off. As a warrior she proved just as eager, though a tad more thoughtful, to complete her duties. Her serious front was what caught the attention of TempestClan's leader Shellstar. It didn't take long before the russet she-cat was a choice among the next cat for deputy. Her status as a warrior was changed to deputy after a battle that unfortunately killed off the previous deputy. Although, the Clan was in mourning, Shellstar did her duty as leader and picked Ryewind for deputy.
